First tip for a good car maintenance is changing the oil regularly, as it keeps the engine of your old car in good shape. Checking engine oil is not a big deal you can simply turn the ignition off and check it with the engine oil dipstick when your car is parked at ground level.

Also, pay attention to a proper and regular car wash to make it look beautiful for years to come. If possible wax it on a weekly basis to keep in shining and free from any sort of corrosion.
