Dino was one of the Sports car series from the house of Ferrari produced during 1968 to 1976. This mid-engine, rear-drive dino car with RMR layout having V6 V8 engines was, in fact, launched as relatively lower priced, and reasonable sports car brand.

The Dino brand was originally created for cars that has less than 12 cylinder engines, thereby holding back the ferrari name for V-12 and flat 12 models. But the brand was withdrawn from the market after a certain point of time to promote the original Ferrari brand.

The Ferrari Dino 246 GT & GTS were the the 2.4 L (2418 cc) Dino 246. The car had a 9.0:1 compression ratio with alloy heads and twin overhead camshaft. With Berlinetta Targa top body style and MR layout, the 246 GT & GTS had a claimed speed of 146 mph (235 km/h). This model produced during 1969 to 1974 had as many as 3,761 cars that were out in the market during that time.

The car used 2,418 cc (147.6 cu in) DOHC V6 engine with 5-speed manual all-synchromesh transmissions. The 246 Dino GT was 2,380 lb (1,080 kg) in weight, whereas the weight of the 246 Dino GTS was 2,426 lb (1,100 kg). One change that was done to save some more cost was that the body was now made of steel. The 246 Dino had a 2.1-inch (53 mm) wheelbase with a height of 43.9 inches.

The two-seat Opel GT is a beautiful sports car that was first unveiled as a styling exercise at the Paris and Frankfurt motor shows in 1965. The car was introduced by Opel in 1968 as a production model.

The style of the car is similar to the 1968 Chevrolet Corvette. The 1.1L straight-4 engine of the car produced 67hp. However, the optional 1.9L Cam-In-Head engine became more popular among the car lovers. The initial models had higher compression cylinder head with “H” code.

The compression ratio of the vehicle was later reduced because of emissions regulations. The Opel GT had a 4-speed manual transmission and was manufactured from 1968 to 1973. The stunning look car had sophisticated aerodynamics that could impress anyone.

The key design characteristics of the GT included a sleek front end, rear fenders, round rear lamps and retractable headlamps. The car also had amazing speed and provided a top class driving performance. The car could reach 0 to 100km/h in just 10.8 seconds and could notch up a top speed of 185km/h.

The Opel GT was designed by Clare MacKichan with a parcel shelf that had to be accessed only using the main doors. The interior of the car was also very spacious with ample room for your heads and legs. As many as 103,463 GTs were sold during its six year of production.

Also known as the Saturn Sky, the car also appeared in the hit Hollywood flick called Get Smart. The increased competition and termination of the body building contract between Bissonneau and Lotz led to the end of its production.

Lamborghini 350 GT now comes with a totally revamped external design. Neri & Bonacini have again got the privilege to change the look of Lamborghini 350 GT. Everything from the chassis to the engine, has been changed for good in this age car.

Its pop-up headlights have been replaced by fixed oval units. The expensive and rare vertical Weber carburetors have been removed from Lamborghini 350 GT’s engine and instead horizontal and side-draught ones have been installed this time. Talking about the front, its grill styling has been altered and now sports two horizontal bars in the air-intake.

This was all about the exteriors of Lamborghini 350 GT, in terms of interiors, its dashboard trim has been changes to leather instead of the old polished aluminum one. Overall, the complete body design has been smoothened giving it a totally new look.
