Ferrari car lovers can’t ever forget the most successful Formula One car design called Ferrari F2002. The credit for designing this prestigious car design goes to Ross Brawn, Rory Byrne and Paolo Martinelli. Ferrari F2002 is remembered till date for winning the sixteen Grands Prix from a total number of twenty races in the year 2002 and 2003.

Considered as a lightweight car, Ferrari F2002 was powered by a high power 3.0 litre V10 engine that had a very low centre of gravity. Apart from this, it had excellent handling. Thanks to Bridgestone for developing the special tyres for this sports car. This car was much better than the contemporary Williams BMW.

Motor Sport magazine has recently declared Ferrari F2002 as the fastest car of the season using the Pomeroy Index system. It was made to run efficiently on Shell fuel. It featured independent pushrod-activated torsion spring suspension in front and rear. As far as transmission of this car is considered, it had 7-speed longitudinal automatic sequential transmission.
