Chrysler Corporation initially marketed the Dodge Ram Van which was later taken over by Daimler Chrysler. The Ram Van being a cargovan also had a passenger version called the Dodge Ram Wagon. The production of the full size van started in 1971 and was built on B platform. During that time, the cargovans were called the Dodge Tradesman and the passenger vans were marketed as Dodge Sportsman.

Both the earlier named models were replaced later by the Ram nameplate in 1979. The Ram Van was later also built on AB plateform which was stronger and lighter than the other cars of that era. Although it had a unibody design, the popularity of the car could be attributed to the cab-over motorhome conversion. Despite being from different eras the B-series vans had similar construction. The modifications were generally made to the fenders on the front, grille, hood and bumpers.

The vans of the first generation had doors that were mounted back and had fixed panel in between the front and side door of the passenger. The second generation saw a departure from this panel as it was more of shorter wheelbase vehicles. The Dodge gained much popularity over the years as it was compatible with several installable options without undergoing a redesign.

Almost every engine that Chrysler used in its rear wheel drive productions was available in the B-series van. It included various six cylinder engines and V8 engines of different blocks. The Dodge Ram Van was marketed in the Chrysler’s lineup of “Adult Toys” in the late 1970s.

The Chrysler Neon, which is known as the Dodge Neon in North America, was introduced in January 1994 by the Dodge and Plymouth brands of Chrysler Corporation. The compact wheel drive car was offered in various colours and configurations and its production came to a halt in September 23, 2005. The second generation of the Neon went up for sale in the year 2000 and was available only as a 4-door sedan. The sole engine of the car was the 2.0 L SOHC engine which had an optional Magnum configuration and produced 150hp.

The second generation of the car was more refined when compared to the first generation car. The second generation was also advertised to have more than 1,000 refinements from the first generation. The frameless windows of the first generation gave way to a full framed door in the second generation. The numerous refinements made the car much quieter and more enjoyable passenger car. The refined interior and the increased size meant that the car was costlier and had an increased weight.

The second generation was also a departure from the DOHC engine which made it less competitive on the racing circle. The second generation Neon had a five-speed manual transmission which used the former ACR gear ratios. This made up for the loss in acceleration that was caused because of the increased weight. This though resulted in the car getting noisier and also hurt its mileage. The name of the car was changed to SX 2.0 in 2003 in Canada but the Neon moniker was finally brought back.

The Dodge Charger was a muscle car produced by Dodge starting from 1966, while it first roadster-styled concept appeared on public in 1964. The 1966 to 1974 were based on Chrysler B platform, sometimes they were called as “B-body Chargers”.

Charger was presented to pubic right at the begging of the year – January 1st, 1966 – on te annual Rose Bowl Games. So, anyway, ‘66 Dodge Charger was a typical “muscle car” – rear wheels drive, powerful V8 engine, flowed round body, etc.

Dodge Charger ‘66 offered many features that were quite unique for Chrysler’s cars and muscle cars in general: “electric shaver” grille that used fully rotating headlights, four individual bucket seats with a full length console from front to rear, door panels, courtesy lights etc. The most interesting interior feature was the instrument panel, which included four electroluminescent (not regular bulbs) dash pods housed the tachometer, speedometer, alternator, fuel and temperature gauges.

In 1966 there was four engines offered, all V8: the base-model 318 in³ (5.2 L) 2-barrel V8, the truck-sourced 361 in³ (5.9 L) 2-barrel, the 383 in³ (6.3 L) 4-barrel, and the new 426 Street Hemi. The last one was really a monster gear – 7.0 L volume and 425 horsepower. It seemed to powerful for the customers majority – the biggest amount of 1966 Chargers were ordered with the 325 hp (242 kW) 383.

Total production in 1966 came to 37,344 units, followed by ‘67 Charger in the next year, which had some changes like optional vynil roof, new engines, etc.
