1967 Chevrolet Nova

The 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS was similar to the 1966 Nova, which had a 327 cubic-inch cylinder engine. The engine was capable of producing an amazing 350 horsepower and had chrome engine with larger valves four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake. The high compression pistons and an enhanced camshaft meant that the car could cover almost quarter of a mile in just 15 seconds. The 3000 pound car could also be made to cover the same distance in almost 13 seconds with some adjustments and modifications.

The comfort of having achieved a winning formula of style and performance meant that Chevrolet was built on the same lines of 1966 Nova SS. The minor changes that were made in the 1967 Chevrolet Nova were in the patterns of the seat covers and the grille was modified. The best part about the 1967 Nova was that the disc brakes for the car were now available directly and could be ordered from the factory. Another important thing about the 1967 Nova SS was that the car no longer had the L79 engine.

The 1967 Nova gives a sterling look by its pearl paint. It has sway bars on the front as well as on the rear. There is a scope for Air Gap intake in the 750 double pumper. The disc brake and the frame connectors are by Wilwood. The car also has LED tail lights. The Chevrolet Nova was often regarded as the ultimate sleeper car and considered a versatile muscle car with maximum potential and one which could easily be customized.

I remember this candy green, as well as the white being very popular colors for this car. The limited edition TR-8 (same look) was extremely popular as well, but the pricey tag made it very limited indeed.

A truly beutiful Ferrari to watch as it took turns at low speeds, only to slingshot around the next car into the straight.

Just for you to know, the Consul Capri was produced in over 17.000 cars and some 1800GT models
