The Lamborghini Bravo presented by Bertone, made its first appearance in the 1974 Turin Auto show. It was a prototype that emerged as the successor of the P330 Urraco. The Lamborghini Bravo was a low-slung futuristic looking car. It had numerous references to the Countach when it came to style. The car ran over 40000 test miles before landing up in the Bertone museum.

The window arrangement of Bravo had an absolutely new design. They were dark and there was no sign of any windshield post between the front windscreen and the side windows which gave a striking effect of continuity. The side windows of the car also ran straight into the air intakes at the rear. The other style feature worth mentioning was the hoods at the front as well as the rear. The car was designed with rectangular air intakes and pop up headlamps which enhanced its looks. The five-cylinder theme wheels of Bravo were also tried later on the Silhouette and the Countach.

Although the production of the car was apparently possible, it was eventually not commercialized. The Bravo was a masterpiece when it came to style, but the car’s beautiful interior did not quite match the exterior. The interior though was very cramped and would have had to be redesigned if the car was put into production. The Bravo retired to Bertone’s museum after being in the limelight at several auto shows around the globe. The car was admired universally by the people for its sheer stylish design.
