There is nothing as exhilarating and thrilling as watching a Formula1 race. The sight of the fast moving machines really gives a kick to the adrenaline. Another such fast moving car that came to the scene was Ferrari F2006. The design was built by Ferrari primarily to gain the competitive edge in the world championship of Formula 1 racing and has the code number 057. The credit for the development of this grand single-seat car goes to the famous engineers Rory Byrne, Ross Brawn and Aldo Costa who is also the creator of the 248F1.
During the press conference, the engineers gave a detail of the structure of the car and how it has been developing the car ever since they got together. Aldo Costa gave a brief detail about the car during the presentation. The car has a V8 engine and there has been a radical change both aerodynamically as well as mechanically and in addition to that it has a brand new chassis.
Special care has been taken to optimize the distribution of the weight of the car and to make it much lighter overall. The suspension of the car has also got a make-over and the rear of the car has also been redesigned completely. The transmission material is new so as the differential. The characteristics of the V8 have been given special care while building these two new elements as it caused initial problems because of the greater vibration that was generated because of the changes in the V8 engine.
