The car created quite a stir in the sports coupe segment and also revitalized the brand in the process. It had a very stylish design which could be recognized very easily anywhere on the roads.

The rear of the car looks even more powerful and dynamic due to its broad wheel arches. The lights of the car look beautiful with the three-dimensional effect and its robust exhaust tailpipes together with the diffuser and a centrally located fog light at the rear add to the overall appearance of the car.

The spoiler of the Audi TT has also been designed wonderfully as they extend and retract according to the speed of the car. The interior of the car has also been designed immaculately with some additional features. Among them are a digital speedometer and an improved steering wheel. The car uses the revolutionary aluminum technology of the company that is also found in the Audi A8 that came in the 1990s.

The doors and the lid of the luggage compartment are made of steel which helps in even distribution of the axle load and improves the handling of the car. The car has two engines which are responsible for its power and performance. The car has a dual clutch gearbox and can reach 0-60mph in 6.1 seconds.

Besides, the car is equipped with a powerful audio system, automatic control and an automatic wind deflector. The Audi TT is available in different attractive colors and is truly an icon car.

The 1957 Geneva Show was used as the platform for the launch of the Aston Martin DB Mark III. It was a sports car that was also referred to as the Mark III. Prior to the London Motor Show, which was held in October 1957, the car was only available for export.

The production of the car came to a halt after the introduction of Aston Martin DB4. The DB Mark III was based on the chassis of Claude Hill and the six cylinder camshaft engine of Lagonda. A total of 310 Mark III made their way to the U.S. The car was sold by the company from 1957 to 1959 and was an advancement of the earlier DB Mark II model. The car underwent many changes from its grille and instrument panel to the introduction of the new disc brakes and a hydraulic clutch.

The DBA engine of the car produced 162 hp which could be raised further with the help of a dual exhaust system. The car could notch up a speed of 120 mph. The car had a stylish hatchback body and other than the first 100 cars, all the other Mark IIIs had standard Girling disc brakes on the front wheels. There were also two coupe versions of the Mark III produced which had a conventional hinged boot.

The car became very popular after it featured in one of the James Bond’s movies. According to the review of a popular car magazine, the DB Mark III was stated as a car for the connoisseurs.

For many reasons selling your car seems a viable option than trading. When you trade your car you have to accept the wholesale value while you can receive a full retail value if you sell your car. However, selling a car can be quite a tricky situation and you have to keep certain things in mind if you are willing to make a quick sale.

The most important aspect to consider when you put up your car for sale is its appearance. You must have your car cleaned thoroughly and take care of any dents or repairs that are obvious both on the exterior and the interior.

The tires of the car should also be balanced and the car should be detailed for a faster and profitable sale. The price that you are going to put before the potential buyers also has a lot to do with how soon and how profitable your decision would be.

You should keep the price of your car such that it reflects its mileage and present condition. Running a CARFAX vehicle history reports also has a good impression on the buyers. The report will ensure the buyers that there are no secrets about your car to hide.

You can either sell your car at a wholesale rate or take it to a new car dealer depending on how old your car is and how much you have used it. You can also put your car for sale on eBay and if you want to avoid being charged for the service you can try Craiglists.com that is a free classified advertisement site.

When it comes to negotiating the price with the buyer, you must highlight the positives of your car which can be like its low mileage, its remaining warranty, good reliability history and no history of any accidents.

The Cadillac Allante was the first hyper luxury roadster that hit the market in 1987 and was sold successfully till 1993. The Allante was designed to restore the position of Cadillac as a competitor of the Mercedes-Benz 560SL.

The car initially had the code name Callisto and its engine and chassis were obtained from the Cadillac Eldorado. It also shared some of its components with the Buick Reatta, Oldsmobile tornado and Riviera. The chassis of the car was manufactured in Detroit from where it was shipped to Italy on specially equipped jets.

Once the body of the Cadillac was mounted to the chassis, the cars were shipped back on jetliners to the plant in Michigan for the finishing touches. The process gave the car nicknames like “the world’s longest assembly line” and “The Flying Italian Cadillac”. The price of US$54,000 for the Cadillac was more than the price of any Cadillac of its time.

The car had an independent suspension system with the standard four wheel disc brakes. The car went under many changes over the years with the introduction of the Speed Dependent Damping Control in the 1989 Allante. Apart from the new road sensing system and improved disk brakes, the other significant changes for the Allante included deeper front spoilers, power steering rack and the single piece side windows.

There were as many as 21000 Cadillac built during its time of production. The car made its appearance in some of the hit movies of Hollywood like Tango & Cash, Terminal Velocity and Rocky V. Awarded as the peace car at the 1992 Indianapolis, the car was also driven by Jr. Ewing.

With an incredible number of 748,904 cars sold by 2005 end, the MX-5 is among the best selling sports cars of the world. The MX-5 was designed on the similar lines of Triumph Spitfire, MG Midget, and Porsche 550 Spider and was meant to be small roadster with minimal weight and complexity. With roadsters sent into the oblivion because of the various regulations, the MX-5 with its modern technology would mark a return for them.

The MX-5 would have the traditional FR layout. With 4-wheel independent suspension and four cylinder engine, the sports car would have manual as well as automatic transmission as an alternative. The body of the MX-5 is very conventional and has the Powerplant Frame which creates a responsive feel. There are also antilock brakes and slip differentials available in some of the MX-5s. There are also some models which have the traction option in them. With a history spread over three generations, the car has more than 150 awards to its name.

It also has its name registered in the Guinness Book of Records for being the best selling sports car of the world. The car has undergone many changes in term of both interior and exterior and also in its mechanical components in its three generations. An internal Mazda competition between the Design Studios located in Japan and the USA led to the wonderful design of the MX-5. The car made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show in 1989 and had an optional hardtop available for the car lovers.

The production of the Lamborghini Miura was carried out between 1966 and 1973 in Italy. The sport car had a mid-engine layout and enjoys a history of great success in competitions. This layout later became a trendsetter among the two-seater supercars in its time. The chassis of the Miura was first unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1965 and it was an instant hit as multiple orders were placed for it although it did not have an actual body on display.

The styling of the sports car was inspired by the Ford GT40 and Marcello Gandini was the one who actually designed the body of this car as he did for most other Lamborghini cars. The 1966 Geneva Motor Show had both the chassis and the body on display for the auto lovers from across the globe. The unusual engine and the flashy bodywork made it look stunning. The car had opening hoods on both ends and there was also a trunk located behind the engine.

The Jota was one of the many models of this fabulous car. It was a one off car which was developed by Bob Wallace in 1972. It was originally built as a powerful test car for the Miura of the future. However, some financial constraints made the company sell this car in the late seventies.

The car was totalled in 1980 and it made Lamborghini built a replica of it. The Miura became very notorious initially for being prone to fire hazard which was later resolved by some modifications. The Lamborghini Miura comes fourth in the list of Top Sports Car of All Times.

The Ferrari F430 Challenge reaffirms the automakers link between the GT and Sporting division of its product line. The car has been designed keeping the sportier clients in mind. Introduced in 2006, the Ferrari F430 Challenge completely replaced the road-going version, the Ferrari 360 Challenge. Although the car has undergone many modifications, it still retains its look and now hosts a lot many new features.

The Ferrari F430 has also gone under a number of development tests that were held at Fiorano and other reputed circuits and such honed features that would definitely be approved by its drivers. The car also uses carbon ceramic material for the breaking system which has never been used in any other Ferrari sports competition car.

The car has an electronic gearbox similar to the one found in the Grand Prix car. The two plate clutch and some detailed software offers stunning gear changing time even in the most difficult track conditions.

The 19 inch tyres of the Challenge have been developed by Pirelli and are in compliance with the racing regulations. The sporty car has been designed specifically with less weight and weighs just 1225 kg. The mechanical differential replacing the E-Diff and a mechanical system replacing the EBD allow the drivers to take full control of the car.

The new steering wheel of the Ferrari F430 Challenge with a quick release mechanism makes it very easy for the drivers to get in and out of the car. The new exhaust system and the high tail pipes located centrally characterize the rear of the car.

The first unitary car introduced by Rover in 1958 was a 3 liter saloon. The distinguished looking vehicle was very large in size and was designed by the famous stylist Davis Bache. The car with a luxurious interior had a 3 liter engine which had the ability to propel the car to an admiring speed of 100 mph. The original all drum set up of the car was replaced by the front wheel disc brakes in 1960.

The introduction of the Mk II which was a four door coupe with a comprehensive instrumentation and low roofline joined the saloon. Harry Weslake developed and redesigned the cylinder head later on which gave the car an increased acceleration and an improved engine power.

The year 1966 saw the Mark III version which had better seats and revised interior along with exterior trim. The major change was made in the following year when the Buick derived 3.5 liter V8 engine replaced the six cylinder engine of the car.

The PB5 was though not available in the saloon and coupe versions. It became a big hit with the government and was used to provide ministerial transport for some famous people which included the Prime Minister Harold Wilson. The production of the PB5 came to a halt in 1973.

The Rover P5 series was much larger than the P4 that it eventually replaced. The car had a 6F head engine and was also commonly referred to as the middle class Rolls Royce. It was also called the 3 Liter and 3 ½ Liter for the engine displacement.

The Chrysler Neon, which is known as the Dodge Neon in North America, was introduced in January 1994 by the Dodge and Plymouth brands of Chrysler Corporation. The compact wheel drive car was offered in various colours and configurations and its production came to a halt in September 23, 2005. The second generation of the Neon went up for sale in the year 2000 and was available only as a 4-door sedan. The sole engine of the car was the 2.0 L SOHC engine which had an optional Magnum configuration and produced 150hp.

The second generation of the car was more refined when compared to the first generation car. The second generation was also advertised to have more than 1,000 refinements from the first generation. The frameless windows of the first generation gave way to a full framed door in the second generation. The numerous refinements made the car much quieter and more enjoyable passenger car. The refined interior and the increased size meant that the car was costlier and had an increased weight.

The second generation was also a departure from the DOHC engine which made it less competitive on the racing circle. The second generation Neon had a five-speed manual transmission which used the former ACR gear ratios. This made up for the loss in acceleration that was caused because of the increased weight. This though resulted in the car getting noisier and also hurt its mileage. The name of the car was changed to SX 2.0 in 2003 in Canada but the Neon moniker was finally brought back.
