A very good news for the racers and speed lovers as one of their favorite cars, the 1969 Chevy Corvette 350350 4 SPEED is for sale. First released and launched in the market in the year 1969, this Chevrolet Corvette is quite a well-featured and stylish car that was thought about and proposed by the Corvette chief Zora Arkus-Duntov. Zora wanted the new Corvette to be new in its body design and in the interior but wanted the engine and chassis mechanism to be just the same as are found in the previous versions of the makers. Initially there were flaws in this model as well but with the course of time, all its defects will be improved, as believed by the Corvette chief.

This 1969 model comes with two doors, a striking exterior color of Riverside Gold and is priced at $32,900. An offer by the Erics Muscle Cars, this news might have made the sports car lovers fasten their belts to make a try of buying the car. Although this model was introduced at a time when America was suffering from most of its unrest periods, its selling record was quite inspiring and that opened the door to an amazing and all time high selling of the 1979 model. 53,807 number cars of this model were produced for sell.

1967 Camaro is the most incredible classic cars of its time. Old cars are an integral part of our lives and Chevrolet has mastered the art of paying tribute to the older ones by giving a new concept to them. Few styling and performance changes have given it a new meaning.

You can imagine the popularity of this car by the fact that it amounts to 3% of all the car sales in 1967. Either as a sports coupe or a convertible, it is making waves in the market. While the convertible is available as a Super sport or in base trim, the sports coupe is available in 3 versions: Super Sport, base model and Z/28.

Fitted with unique taillights, hideaway headlights and special side mouldings enhance the entire package for the base model. The Camaro SS was another milestone not only in appearance but also in performance as well. For the entire racing crowd, Z28 is a prized possession. Though the market is limited for this version, but sales have no limit.

This car was once completely thrashed and went under restoration. Its front end was severely damaged and it was painted like new and the interiors were done again.

The good thing was that its drive train was left intact. It took two years of restoration done by Easton Auto Body. This was the first attempt of any restoration for a muscle car and it was indeed appreciated by people.

In fact, 1965 Corvette 327 Muscle Car looked amazing even than its former look. In other words, after renovation, this muscle car gained a new look that was more appealing and attractive.

In case, you haven’t heard about it, you can read about it now. To begin with, let’s inform you that the muscle car era features cars and trucks that were built between 1964 and 1972.

These muscle cars were actually a product of the Classic Car Era. It is believed that these strong cars were evolved from the feverish consumerism that actually followed World War II. The truth is that the muscle cars were evolved by accident at the time when Detroit was attempting to stop the invasion of imported cars with new.

Muscle cars include cars like Camero, Firebird and Barracuda. These cars were in fact, the most popular muscle cars. The shock for the muscle car era came when Congress passed the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFÉ) rule in the year 1978. As a result of this rule, the muscle car era ended all of a sudden.

In fact, 1967 GTO can be termed as one of the most beautiful muscle cars of all times.

The car possesses fresh and catchy look with stunning new grille, and much more. The experts and designers of the 1967 Pontiac GTO didn’t play much with the perfect lines on which the 1966 model was designed, thereby letting it retain the beauty and charm of the earlier version.

However, few changes being done has allowed the engineers to showcase their artistic triumph on the 1967 Pontiac GTO. The symbolic front of the muscle car has not been touched. However, a plain chain link grille has been placed though. The designers also did slight work on the tail and the edges of the car to make it look more fashionable.

Moreover, there has been an extension to the 389 cylinder V8 engine, which has been updated with a 400-cylinder. Another important change is the replacement of the 360-hp slot of the tri-carburetor setup with a brand new 4-barrel High Output option, which costs US$ 77 extra.

The 1967 Pontiac GTO has a 3-speed and a 4-speed manual transmission, available with Hurst shifters. By spending over US$ 263 extra, you can even get a Ram Air Package for the 1967 Pontiac GTO’s HO engine.

With an automatic transmission and air conditioning, it is one of the powerful cars manufactured so far.

The first Dodge Charger was showcased in a 1964 auto show. This car is equipped with a 426 Wedge engine and based on the Polara. Later, a point had reached when a car with different style was required and the 1966 Dodge Charger was produced.

It was the Dodge Charger with a different grille. The car had an exclusive dashboard that had a superior quality back lighting for night driving. Within a few months of its introduction in the market, the 1967 version of Dodge Charger was launched, which featured a sporty look and had many new and unique features.

Later, the 1968 and the 1969 version of Dodge Chargers were also launched in the market and became very successful.

In the year 1970, the Charger was introduced with slight modification. The only exception was that it as a 500 model with slight increase in the length. Three versions of the car was introduced, the Charger RT 440, the Charger 500, and finally the Charger. As a new feature, the 1970 Charger got a front bumper circling the grille and tail lights.

As many as 49,768 vehicles of 1970 Chargers were produced, out of which 10,337 were Charger RT 440. The RT 440 version of the 1970 Dodge Charger is one such car, which has a lot many admirers even today.

It is an intermediate vehicle and has been named after an Italian city, Turin.

Initially it was the upscale version of Ford Fairlane, an intermediate car built by Ford during the 1960s. The year 1968 saw Ford retaining the name Fairlane for the base models that had lower trim as compared to those cars which bore the Torino name. Torino during this time was considered to be a sub-series of the Fairlane.

The year 1970 saw Torino becoming the primary brand for Ford’s intermediate cars, whereas the Fairlane became the sub-series for Torino. The next year in 1971, Ford completely withdrew the name Fairlane and all intermediates from Ford henceforth were called Torino. It is quite remarkable how Torino managed to overtake its predecessor.

Most of the Torinos were traditional cars and the general trend with the popular vehicles sedans with 4 doors and a 4 door hardtops. But Ford didn’t confine itself with this vehicle and also created some really high performance and powerful versions of this car, by adding large and powerful engines to them. Some of these engines included the likes of 429 cu in (7 L) “Cobra-Jet” and 428 cu in (7 L) engines. Ford has classified these cars as muscle cars and the Torino was also chosen by Ford as the base to enter into NASCAR and it has very rich and successful racing legacy.

Plymouth Road Runner was a muscle car manufactured by Chrysler between 1968 and 1980. Many were of the opinion that the early muscles cars were shifting away from their roots of being relatively cheap and fast cars. Plymouth did have an existing performance car at that time in the form of the GTX. However, designers wanted to recreate the concept of muscle cars.

Plymouth’s goal was to create a car that would run an incredible 14 second times within the quarter mile and sell the car for anything less than US$3000. Surprisingly both these goals were accomplished and this low priced muscle car was ready to hit the roads. This car was very well received by the customers and very soon replaced the high scale and low volume GTX.

Chrysler paid a whopping $50,000 to Warner Brothers in order to bag the rights to use name Road Runner, which was a name of a cartoon character from the Warner Brothers production house. This car was more of re-entry to the muscle cars space and Plymouth wanted it to create a niche for this model and hence spared no effort or resource to build this car.

Plymouth used the Chrysler B platform to create this car and all important aspects from performance to maintenance were upgraded. The looks were also given much importance and shaped up to be a great looking car with wonderful interior. It definitely is one of the greatest muscle car that has been ever built.

Chrysler Corporation initially marketed the Dodge Ram Van which was later taken over by Daimler Chrysler. The Ram Van being a cargovan also had a passenger version called the Dodge Ram Wagon. The production of the full size van started in 1971 and was built on B platform. During that time, the cargovans were called the Dodge Tradesman and the passenger vans were marketed as Dodge Sportsman.

Both the earlier named models were replaced later by the Ram nameplate in 1979. The Ram Van was later also built on AB plateform which was stronger and lighter than the other cars of that era. Although it had a unibody design, the popularity of the car could be attributed to the cab-over motorhome conversion. Despite being from different eras the B-series vans had similar construction. The modifications were generally made to the fenders on the front, grille, hood and bumpers.

The vans of the first generation had doors that were mounted back and had fixed panel in between the front and side door of the passenger. The second generation saw a departure from this panel as it was more of shorter wheelbase vehicles. The Dodge gained much popularity over the years as it was compatible with several installable options without undergoing a redesign.

Almost every engine that Chrysler used in its rear wheel drive productions was available in the B-series van. It included various six cylinder engines and V8 engines of different blocks. The Dodge Ram Van was marketed in the Chrysler’s lineup of “Adult Toys” in the late 1970s.
